Here are some pics of sample ideas that I'm considering as soon as I get it here. Scott B has it up north (I swapped it for the 81 Honda CB750C) and either he will deliver it to me (I need to make it worth his while to come back down) OR I'm going to have to make the trip to Wisconsin and back some weekend soon...

I know that this is a Triumph but it is nearly EXACTLY what I want to come up with using a Yamaha XS650.. Soon, very soon... I can't wait to get started on it! |

Here is an actual XS650 bobber that someone has done a pretty decent job on. I'm NOT wild about the flame paint job or the forward controls but it has the basis of what I want to do (just a little more like the Triumph above) |

Another XS bobber in the early stages. He is using the stock cast wheels on this one which I'm not crazy about BUT it is worth a look. Probably going to be a nice one when done. |

Another very nice Bobber, this time a BSA.. Way cool pipes on this. |

Here is another very cool and different example that a girl sent me of HER XS.. Very different to say the least!

Now here is a little different usage of an XS650 twin that I like very much. I've been getting negative feedback from some well wishers since my back is completely F'D! The idea of a long travel suspended XS is something worth considering but I can't really imagine using something like this off road unless it is a very smooth fire road or something similar... Still very nicely done.. |

Another nicely done example of an XS but this time a semi cross between a Cafe bike and a Street Tracker.. Maybe the answer is to get THREE XS650's and do one of EACH!>>>????? Whattya think??? Any ideas from the passerbys? Always open for suggestions and ideas.. E-mail me direct at BOSUROB@EVERESTKC.NET if you want to send me a picture.. |
